Properties:	White cube or powder, pale pink or light yellow are allowed, sublimating at the temperature over 76°C in atmospherical enviroment , easily to decarboxylate and change into phenol and carbon dioxide when heated quickly. Its aqueous solution appears acid reaction, becomes purple with FeCl₃, slightly soluble in water, soluble in boiling water, soluble in ethanol or ether.
